SEA CREATURES! As we all know there are many different sea elements on our seas, known or unknown. One of my favorite sea creatures is not a fish, but a mammal, it is the Whale Shark. Whale Sharks are known all over the world. One definite place to spot a whale shark is on the beautiful island of the Philippines. In the Philippines, Whale shark is also known as Butanding (Local Term). Butanding plays a major role in the field of tourism in the said country especially on the lands near the coasts.

Visiting whale shark is seasonal in various countries. For those countries that whale shark lives and stay, each of them has their own ways how to treat them. Also, whale shark gives a high percentage in the tourism industry. They are known for being the largest marine creatures and standout to all sharks for having its known unique pattern of dots.

Sight them while riding a boat, snorkeling and scuba diving are some activities that can do with the gentle giant whale shark. But in doing all the activities, there are precautions to follow, they are known as no threats to human, but when their tail hit you, it can cause injury or maybe fatal. One way of respecting them is for not disturbing while they are swimming along with you. They have their own habits and respect it.

Worldwide, whale sharks are very noticeable, but nowadays, their numbers are becoming smaller. They are now listed as one of the endangered species. The reason behind this is the sadist killers of marine species which really affects the marine cycle. Even if we know that this is a very devastating concern, it is not too late yet! We can save these whale sharks and other marine species. Let's just not lose hope.
